Incontol2 controls most of the remote router’s configuration but not all.
In most network configurations InControl can be used to control all the settings that need to be configured.
WAN connections are an exception, unless they are configured using the bulk configuration tool and IP settings in InControl.
In practise one would unbox a Peplink router and bring it online to configure the WAN connection settings, add it to InControl and then use InControl to configure any additional settings.
When new features are introduced they will be added to the local router firmware first (web admin GUI).
This feature will then e added later to a new InControl release.
The latest features will therefore only be available in the local web admin GUI.
